MAP OF FEELING
A RE-WRITE OF THE LONDON UNDERGROUND MAP

A re-write of the iconic London Underground map, each station changed to a feeling. The line colours influenced what emotion each station became, in order to create a movement through the process of feeling. The challenge was keeping a congruent journey through multiple line crossovers. The original design was an A1 poster, it was framed and displayed during the re-launch of The Wilson Gallery in Cheltenham. The pocket maps followed along with a perspex and steel installation, in which each line was screen printed on to a separate sheet of perspex and suspended within a steel frame. Prints were made and sold at a later exhibition, as well as t-shirts and a series of postcards.
